This year’s David Surette Mandolin Festival on will take place on May 3 – 5.

As always, we have a stellar line-up of teacher/performers we are so excited to bring you: Carlo Aonzo, Dan Bui, Keith Murphy and Joe K. Walsh. All four of these folks are versed in tradition and can also bring tradition into new places. Among them, they cover many musical styles.

The kick-off concert will take place at The Dance Hall in Kittery Maine on Friday, May 3 at 7:30 p.m., with sets by each of the teachers. Saturday night’s concert at the Music School’s lovely Recital Hall is included with your workshop registration, and tickets are also available to the public.

Saturday and Sunday’s two days of workshops start at 9:30 at the Concord NH Community Music School. There are classes each period for beginners to advanced levels, and each teacher will offer something for each level so you will get to be with every teacher by the end of the weekend.
