Letter: Putin and Trump

Vladimir Putin is a stone-cold killer who has big plans for Russia. Donald Trump is a narcissistic sociopath who has big plans for Donald Trump. Both love power and money. Putin has crushed dissent, using assassination, poisoning, and incarceration. Trump has punished dissent in the Republican Party and promises “ultimate and absolute revenge” if he wins in November. Plans to create his own Deep State have already been made public. Putin faces an arrest warrant for war crimes from the International Criminal Court. Trump faces 91 criminal counts, including inciting an insurrection against his own government. Putin invaded Ukraine, a sovereign state, originally recognized as such by Russian leader Boris Yeltsin. Putin wants to finish the job started by Joseph Stalin in the Holodomor, the deliberate starvation of 3.9 million Ukrainians.

Putin seeks to destroy Ukraine’s infrastructure and terrorize the population with bombardments, torture, executions, and rape. Trump is holding up assistance to Ukraine to help Putin succeed. After all, Putin worked to help get Trump elected in 2016 with a campaign of misinformation and disinformation. Putin has threatened to use tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine and is developing nuclear weapons for space. Donald Trump is totally clueless about nuclear weapons. Where these two men go, chaos, cruelty, and corruption follow. They are the servants neither of God nor of the people but only of themselves. Heed the words of Winston Churchill: “Each one hopes that if he feeds the crocodile enough, the crocodile will eat him last.”
