Letter: Millions for new PD station

I just saw that the city wants to spend $41 million to rehab the old Insurance building on No. State St. that they bought from Steve Duprey for $40 million. Just exactly where will this money come from ? Oh I know, our taxes! So we can see another increase in property tax for this project. Just exactly when will the council stop raiding residents pocketbooks for another project.

I strongly object to this for this should have been mentioned when the city did a P&S agreement with Duprey, and it should have been shared with Concord residents for we are the ones that will ultimately have to pay the cost for this. Enough is enough, get out of my pocketbook!
