ConcordEx-farm group director guilty of faking info

The former executive director of a group that advises the agriculture and forestry industries in New Hampshire has been convicted of providing false information to the U.S. Department of Agriculture to draw funds from a grant.

A federal jury in Concord found 51-year-old Suzanne Brown of Errol guilty last week. Brown was executive director of the New Hampshire Institute of Agriculture and Forestry.

Jurors found that she submitted documents saying the organization paid thousands of dollars to employees for services rendered. Prosecutors said the statements were made to draw down funds from a USDA Rural Business Enterprise Grant.
