Winnisquam won the Unified volleyball championship, defeating Spaulding, 2-0.

Youth soccer

Capital Soccer Club beat Kearsarge United, 3-0. Goals came from Phoebe Hicks, Emma Losey and Chloe Morgan. Lily Hillsgrove had another shut out in net.

Soccer signups

Offseason ice hockey strength training programs led by Bow hockey Coach and former UNH hockey player Tim Walsh will begin at The Pit workout facility in Bow. Summer sessions start June 20 and will be open Monday-Friday from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. The program focuses on developing strength and explosiveness for hockey players going into seventh grade and up. Learn-to-Row program, offered by Concord Crew, is for middle school and high school students. Hawks Softball Camp, being held June 20-23 at Hopkinton High, is open to all area girls ages 7-13. The camp stresses fundamentals and fun and is run by Hopkinton varsity Coach Dan Meserve. Cost is $75, including a t-shirt and prizes. Email dmeserve@hopkintonschools.org for a brochure.

Paul Hogan Basketball Camps will be held as follows: Rip City Basketball Camp at NHTI June 20-24, Girls’ Pt. Guard/Post Player Camp June 26-28, Boys’ Point Guard/Post Player Camp at NHTI June 29-July 1, and the 23rd annual Specialty Basketball Camp July 24-28. Shooter’s Gold Basketball Camps will be held in six towns around NH: July 5-8 at Littleton High School, July 10-13 at Rivendell High School, July 11-15 at Inter-Lakes Elementary School in Meredith and Gilford Middle School. Lacrosse overnight camp for girls entering grades 6-12 in the fall will be put on by the UNH women’s lacrosse program June 27-29. Registration is available online at unhwildcats.com. The camp has both an overnight ($425) and commuter ($350) option. A minimum deposit of $200 is due at registration with any remaining balance due June 4. IHB baseball camp will be held July 5-8 at Pembroke Academy. The camp will run daily from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. with a special guest scheduled to appear each day. Camp is open to both boys and girls ages 6-13 with any playing level. Fee is $80 which includes two tickets per camper to a New Hampshire Fisher Cats game. UNH field hockey team will hold two summer camps as well as two summer youth clinics. Session I will be held June 29-July 2, followed by Session II from July 6-9 and the youth clinic will be held July 7-8. The Session I and Session II camps both have overnight ($475) and day ($375) options for the four-day camps. The single-day youth clinics on July 7-8 cost $35 per day or $60 for both days. The sessions are open to junior high and high school students as of fall 2016. Registration for Session I and Session II is available online at unhwildcats.com. The Pembroke Rec Department will offer tennis lessons at Pembroke Academy on Mondays and Wednesdays starting July 13 and running through Aug. 3. Rain dates will be on Thursdays. Forms are available at the Pembroke Town Hall and should be turned in by July 11. The cost is $35 for residents and $45 for non-residents. Women’s slow pitch softball registrations are now open. The league runs Sunday nights for women 18 and older in July and August. Contact Bow recreation at parksrec@bow-nh.gov.

Adult indoor soccer registrations for teams and individuals are being accepted at Fieldhouse Sports Indoor Facility in Bow. Adult Coed, Men’s Over 30 and Women’s Over 30 leagues begin the Tuesday of this coming week. Each team plays one game per week on a designated night. The City “B” Tennis tournament will be held June 20-26. It is intended for men with up to a 4.0 USTA rating (or equivalent). The tournament will have a singles and doubles draw. Entry fee is $20 per single and $30 per doubles team. The deadline to enter is June 17 at 6 p.m. Matches will start after 4 p.m. on weekdays, unless participants can play earlier.
