ConcordA day without water

The public is invited to participate in “Imagine A Day Without Water” by joining Concord General Services for an open house on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at their Water Treatment Facility, 53 Hutchins St., or Wastewater Treatment Facility, 125 Hall St. Social media users are encouraged to share why they value water (be sure to include #ValueWater) on Concord General Services’ Facebook and Twitter pages @ConcordNHGS. If we all remember the value of water and continue to invest in infrastructure, Concord won’t have to imagine a day without water. Visit concordnh.gov/water for more information. Out of sight and out of mind is a massive network underground of water systems that work 24/7 to distribute water to and from homes, schools, hospitals, and businesses. The campaign raises awareness about the importance of water in our daily lives and imagining what even a single day without access to water would mean for a community.
