Monarchs score early, often in 4-1 win over Worcester

The Manchester Monarchs scored three goals on eight shots in the first period and cruised to a 4-1 victory over the visiting Worcester Sharks last night.

Vincent LoVerde started the scoring with the first of his two goals in the period on a power play at 5:44 of the first. Andy Andreoff made it 2-0 with a power-play goal 13:05 into the first, then LoVerde made it 3-0 at even strength at 18:25.

Andreoff capped the scoring at 19:26 of the second period, making it 4-1.

Brian O’Neill dished out four assists and Nick Shore had three. Goalie Patrik Bartosak made 27 saves.
