Art grants announced
The New Hampshire State Council on the Arts has announced it has awarded eighteen General Project Grants for Community Engagement. Local programs include traditional New England barn dancing with Dudley Laufman in the Hooksett School District; traditional African dance group for at-risk middle and high school students in Concord; traditional arts showcase at the Old House and Barn Expo in Concord; and a kids, books and arts program at the State Library in Concord.
Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church will hold a Liturgy of Presanctified Gifts with Vespers and Community on Wednesday at 6 p.m., followed by a potluck and discussion.
