Concord High graduate Ben Bengston sparked a come-from-behind victory for the Hartford baseball team Saturday, hitting a walk-off single in the bottom of the 10th inning for a 5-4 win over Stony Brook.

Bengston also drove in the game-tying run to force extra innings with a sacrifice fly in the bottom of the eighth, scoring Nick Campana, who also scored the game-winning run in the 10th.

Bengston is currently 10th in the America East Conference with a slugging percentage of .475 and he’s had a solid year at the plate despite early season struggles for the Hawks (13-19). Bengston has now driven in 29 runs and looks to keep a nine-game hitting streak going when Hartford visits Quinnipiac on Tuesday.
