Quiet was not the rule of the afternoon at the Boscawen Public Library as young creators, with some help from the adults, built colorful fairy houses for little clothespin fairies they had decorated and named just a few minutes prior. Artist Diane Kordas ran the workshop with more than two dozen participants, who were encouraged to come up with stories for their magical fairies. The houses, built from soda bottles and paper plates, were decorated with markers, colored paper, moss, pine needles, tissue paper and bark.
