Citizens Bank is offering nonprofits the chance to apply for $35,000 and other support for community arts. Nonprofits must apply by Aug. 18 at 5 p.m. at citizensbank.com/community/champions.

MSA Safety Incorporated has completed its acquisition of Globe Manufacturing in Pittsfield for about $215 million. Globe’s management team, including previous owners, will continue to work at the company during the transition.
