Bank of New Hampshire was voted Best Local Bank for Small Business and Best Commercial Lender in NH Business Review’s 2024 Best of Business (BOB) Awards. NH Business Review readers cast more than 3,000 online votes to select this year’s BOB Awards recipients, which included nearly 500 businesses across New Hampshire in a range of business-to-business categories. Bank of New Hampshire along with all 2024 BOB Awards winners, will be celebrated during NH Business Review’s BOB Awards celebration on March 14 from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Grappone Conference Center in Concord.

NH Tech Alliance announces the opening of nominations for the 9th Annual TechWomen of the Year Awards, celebrating technology-focused women who drive innovation and influence technology at companies and schools. Nominees should have demonstrated a commitment to supporting STEM/Technology education and advancing the role of women and girls in technology. Self-nominations are also welcome. The TechWomen Award winners will be honored on May 16 at the TechWomen Connect and Awards. The awards reception will be a must-attend for women in technology, featuring fun and interactive activities, delicious food and drinks and networking opportunities. Attendees will learn about the incredible work being done by the three award winners. Nominations for the TechWomen of the Year Awards will close on March 3. Dr. Alexander Hennig will join Concord Hospital Orthopaedics – Laconia in February. Dr. Hennig is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and sports medicine. Most recently, he has been practicing at Advanced Orthopedics in Gilford – an affiliate of Frisbie Memorial Hospital.

NH Federal Credit Union and the Concord Police Department will host “Avoiding Fraud” on Jan. 31. This free class offers valuable and the most up-to-date information on the current types of fraud being seen and tips on how to protect yourself. The class will be followed by a Q&A session. Subjects covered include romance scams, gift card scams, lottery winning scams, Norton Antivirus and others. The event will be held from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at 70 Airport Road,. Space is limited.
