Granite Investment Advisors, an employee-owned, independently registered investment firm in downtown Concord, recently announced the assets acquisition of Hutchens Investment Management, owned by William D. Hutchens Jr.

Harvard Pilgrim Health Care Foundation and The Granite Group recently awarded a $5,000 grant to the Organization for Refugee and Immigrant Success. The grant will enable ORIS to increase access to healthy, affordable, culturally appropriate food for low-income residents in Concord.

St. Mary’s Bank recently received two Diamond Awards for outstanding marketing and business development achievements in the credit union industry: Complete Campaign and Financial Education. The awards are presented by the Credit Union National Association.

Merrimack County Savings Bank has been named Small Business of the Year by the Hooksett Kiwanis. The award will be given out at the Hooksett Kiwanis Community Leaders event on April 3 at the Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester.

Lakes Region Mental Health Center was recently awarded a grant from the Greater Lakes Region Children’s Auction to replace toys, games and art supplies that are used in play psychotherapy with children. Last year, LRMHC served 1,150 children under the age of 18.
