Clark for Hopkinton cemetery trustee

Lynn Clark is uniquely qualified for the position of cemetery trustee by education, experience and interest. She has a doctorate degree in anthropology and wrote her master’s thesis on the topic of gravestones, class and ethnicity. This area of interest is longstanding in that she prepared a slideshow about her town’s cemeteries for the state meeting of high school history clubs in New York. Most recently, she authored the 2017 World War I-themed Cemetery Walk in Contoocook.

Her relevant management experience includes five years as the executive director of the Mount Kearsarge Indian Museum. Her relevant experience in end-of-life matters includes being an original member of the local Jewish burial society, tasked with preserving the dignity of each individual as well as tending to the needs and wishes of a grieving family within the bounds of the law.
