What was the highlight of your season?

The highlight of my season was making it to the Meet Of Champs as a team, for the first time since 2000.

Who was the unsung hero of your team?

There were to two unsung hero’s and they were Riley Mann and Dylan Roberts. They were our second and third runners finishing milliseconds apart every race. They would push each other and also have a friendly competition.

If you could improve high school cross country in New Hampshire, what would you do?

Support from schools. Cross country is a forgotten sport especially if you’re a small school, no one goes to support besides our parents but it would be awesome to have more student fans.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they?

I still have the same superstition as I did last year. You need to get a good nights sleep two days before a race because sleep won’t affect you until two days later.

Who is the funniest person on your team? What makes them funny?

Evan Griffin told the stupidest and most pointless stories ever. He never sat in the front seat so he always gets in the back no matter if the front was open which made for a good laugh. He would also never stop taking and just keep rambling on. In addition to that, he would ask the exchange student on our team the weirdest questions.

If someone was going to make a movie of your season, who would play your coach? Who would play you?

The person that would play my coach would be Steve Prefontaine and Will Ferrell would play me again because he’s funny.

What are some misconceptions about your sport?

Everyone thinks as runners, we are crazy. Yes we maybe a little crazy but we are normal people, we just like to run!

What movie can you watch over and over without getting tired of it?

The movie I could watch forever is either Hangover Part 1 or Dope, those are my two favorite movies.

When you are old, what do you think children will ask you to tell stories about?

They would probably ask me what my childhood was like and what I did.

Where do you get your news?

The only news I like is running and basketball, so I get my news from Instagram. I follow Flotrack, New Hampshire Cross Country, and Mile Split to know what’s going on in running.

What movie quotes do you use on a regular basis?

I don’t really have a quote that I use a lot, I mostly just use Instagram or funny video quotes.

If you built a themed hotel, what would the theme be and what would the rooms look like?

I would have a Nike themed hotel with a bunch of free stuff. The rooms would all be 5 star hotel suites, with Nike everything.

What would be the best thing you could reasonably expect to find in a cave?

Batman

If you could go to school in a foreign country, which country would you pick and why?

If I were to go to a foreign school I would go to Australia because first I could understand everyone, secondly Australia is a beautiful place and everyone is so nice there.

What’s the opposite of a koala?

A penguin walking into my school wearing a sombrero.

What questions would you like to ask a time traveler from 200 years in the future?

What’s the world like and what’s the fastest 5k time?

If you were hired to show tourists what life is really like where you live, what would you show them / have them do?

Well I couldn’t show them much because where I live isn’t that exciting! I would have them do my homework for me because I don’t like homework.

What’s the most boring superhero you can come up with?

The most boring superhero would be to be invisible when no one is looking.

What’s the best thing about being a teen? What’s the worst?

The best is being young and active. You are nimble but quick, not old and frail. The worst is that no one really believes us. When asked about something most people just think we’re lying, so that’s the worst.
