Disabled veterans should not have to pay property taxes

There is no way a veteran who is totally and permanently disabled and unemployable should pay real estate taxes.

This seems like a no-brainer in a world where we protect and appropriate funds for the drug addicts and the illegal immigrants. Veterans in this country have long been ignored, especially in New Hampshire.

I know that there are some benefits in some towns, but there should be one law. No disabled veteran who is totally and permanently disabled due to a service-connected condition should ever pay real estate taxes on his or her primary residence.

The drug addicts and illegal immigrants that politicians love to help out choose to do drugs and choose to come into this country illegally, which are both criminal offenses, by the way.

Veterans did not choose to be shot, blown up and dismembered, or see their buddies get killed and maimed in front of them, spit on at the airport or come home with PTSD so debilitating that they are unable to work.

I think it’s about time a lot more is done for us guys, and we can start by eliminating the real estate taxes.
