Thank you, ‘Monitor’

In today’s topsy-turvy world, the Monitor’s “Thank you” editorial on June 8 was a welcome respite. It reminded us how much we all depend on others for simple, daily acts of human kindness.

Thank you, too, Monitor staff, for your ongoing informative articles, such as your June 8 one, “Tuesday’s rain sets capital city records,” illustrating the impacts of a rapidly changing climate on our state. Readers should know that the record-breaking weather we’re seeing is exactly what has been predicted with climate change – and it’s only going to get worse unless we work together to solve it.

Finally, thank you for the June 6 article, “Sununu says N.H. won’t join climate alliance,” making it clear that Gov. Sununu, while claiming to be informed and to care about New Hampshire’s future, doesn’t really understand climate change science. Let’s encourage him to get on board.
