Former University of New Hampshire running back Dalton Crossan has been signed by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Crossan, who signed with the Indianapolis Colts as an undrafted free agent last year, played in the preseason with Indy but was waived with an injury designation on Aug. 22.

At UNH, Crossan racked up 2,617 yards and 27 touchdowns on 449 carries, and caught 105 passes for 775 yards and eight scores.

Crossan joins Peyton Barber and Jacquizz Rodgers as running backs under contract for the Bucs. Tampa Bay waived two-time Pro Bowler Doug Martin on Tuesday and Charles Sims is entering unrestricted free agency.
