What was the highlight of your season? Beating our rivals 2-0 at their homecoming after tying them 1-1 the week before at our own homecoming game. Every time we play them is a battle with such a fun and equally matched rivalry.

Who was the unsung hero of your team? The unsung hero of our team is definitely our goalkeeper. Ethan Warren is the silent rock that helped hold us together. He is one of the most clutch players that I have ever had the pleasure of playing with and that really showed when we won the championship in 2015.

What was the biggest surprise of the season? The biggest surprise of the season was when we switched our normal running routine of “Hoker Hill” to the now dreaded sandpits.

Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? I have a lucky pair of socks with stars that I wear before all my games. Also my soccer sandals are a must on every game day. Except for the long ride to Berlin when I wear moccasins.

What’s your favorite pre-game meal? The parents of the players are generous enough to put on a team feed the night before every game. These dinners bring the team very close together and really helps the continued success of the team. Although we always have different dinners, on game day I always eat a blueberry bagel with butter and a big glass of milk.

If someone was going to make a movie of your season, who would play your coach? Who would play you? If there was going to be a movie of this season the coaching role would have to be played by Dave Pinkham himself. I don’t think you could pay an actor to talk for that long. And for me it would probably have to be Ryan Reynolds due to his recent role in Deadpool. The only way I got through this season was with “Maximum Effort.”

If you could go to any sporting event, what would it be? I have always wanted to go to the Summer Olympics in a different country. Along with that I would love to see an Ohio State vs Michigan football game. Go Buckeyes!

If you weren’t playing your sport in the fall, what would you be doing? I would probably spend most of my time watching college football and “The Office.” Along with this, I would definitely spend a lot of time on my fantasy football lineups.

What’s your favorite app? Snapchat. All the fun filters make sending weird selfies to my friends.

What’s your most-played song right now? “Fire and the Flood” by Vance Joy, and “Midnight City” by M83. There’s nothing better than driving around listening to some relaxing music. These same songs also works great for doing homework.

Do you have any must-see television shows? “The Office.” My all time favorite TV show and I highly recommend it to anyone who hasn’t watched it yet. Along with people who don’t watch college football. You’re really missing out.

If you could have dinner with any three people, who would it be? And what would you serve? President Obama, Sergio Ramos, and Travis Pastrana. For dinner, we would have lobster mac and cheese with coffee ice cream for dessert.

If you got a $1 million to start a company, what would you do? I would want to start a sports outerwear company. That way I could sponsor athletes and competitions throughout the world.

If you had to go on a talent show, what would you do? With no real special talents off the sports field, I guess I would have to do armpit farts. I’ve always been really good at that.
