New Hampshire Fish and Game officials are investigating a snowmobile crash that injured a Hillsboro man Saturday night.

Kyle Nutter, 20, of Hillsboro was riding with a group of friends on a local trail near Bear Hill Road in his hometown when the crash occurred, Fish and Game said. Nutter’s friends called 911 after finding him on the ground as they crossed a field.

Nutter was taken by ambulance to Concord Hospital for treatment of unspecified injuries. Authorities said he was wearing proper riding gear at the time of the crash.

Hillsboro police officers, firefighters and state conservation officers responded to the call. Fish and Game said they are looking into whether speed or alcohol may have been factors in the crash.
