Gilbert, Stadnicki and Goldrick sign letters of intent to play college baseball

Griffen Gilbert and Kurtis Stadnicki of Concord and John Stark’s Derek Goldrick signed letters of intent on Monday to continue their baseball careers into college.

Gilbert, an All-State first team selection last spring in Division I, will attend D-I Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, N.J. 

Stadnicki, an All-State second team pick, will attend Division II Merrimack College.

Goldrick, a pitcher selected to the All-State first team last season in Division II, will play at Division I Quinnipiac University. Goldrick led the Generals with a 2.47 ERA in his junior season last spring. He struck out 46 batters in 34 innings. Offensively, Goldrick led the team with five home runs and 20 RBI. He was second on the team with a .407 batting average and stole seven bases.
