Troubadour to sing at new Tupelo Music Hall

Country-rock singer/songwriter Jonathan Edwards will perform in the Granite State this week.

Edwards is known for his hits “Sunshine (Go Away),” “Honky Tonk Stardust Cowboy,” and “Emma.” His latest of 15 albums is Tomorrow’s Child.

The concert will be Friday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $30.

The following night, Roomful of Blues, a swingin’ and award-winning R&B band, will bring great music to the hall as part of a 50th-anniversary show.

The group has earned five Grammy Award nominations and a slew of other accolades, including seven Blues Music Awards. Twice, the prestigious DownBeat International Critics Poll selected them as Best Blues Band.

Roomful of Blues will perform Saturday at 8 p.m. Tickets are $25 to $30.
