Democratic incumbents Mary Stuart Gile and Chip Rice are running uncontested.

Incumbent? If so, how many terms: 10

Do you support commuter rail funding? Yes, it has proven to be an economic benefit to residents and towns on the Seacoast and would be to N.H.’s Central corridor as well.

Do you support providing more state money for higher education? I support providing more state money to education, kindergarten through post-secondary, including increasing the adequacy funding to encourage full-day kindergarten in all N.H. communities.

Do you support pro-gun legislation, such as constitutional carry? No.

Do you support reauthorizing Medicaid expansion? Yes. I would like to see it continue until universal health care is available.

Do you support increasing the minimum wage? Yes. I would like to see the minimum wage increase to $12/hour over the next three years.

Do you support marijuana legalization or decriminalization? I voted to legalize marijuana for medical purposes. I have serious concerns about the legalization or decriminalization of marijuana to resolve before I can support it.

What would you like voters to know about your philosophy, principles or priorities? I am a progressive, who believes that government can and should be a positive force promoting prosperity and an enhanced quality of life. My priorities include working families, economic security, fiscal responsibility, and legislation that promotes children’s safety, nurturing, health and education.
