What was the highlight of your season? Probably placing 16th in the D-III State meet.
Who was the unsung hero of your team? Definitely Nate Houghton. Throughout the entire season he was like a personal coach for me, we did work outs together and always ran no matter even if practice was canceled. He loves to run and is very dedicated to the sport. He puts in the most unseen work out of everyone on the team.
What was the biggest surprise of the season? The biggest surprise for me was probably making the Meet of Champions. I didn’t think I could make just because there are a lot of good runners in D-III and I knew top 25 was going to be a little bit of a challenge, but I did it.
Do you have any sports superstitions? If so, what are they? I have a two running superstitions, I guess. My first is that two days before the meet you have to get a good night sleep because it will affect how you run on the day of the meet. My second one is that the day of the meet you have to have a big breakfast because it will help you run better.
What’s your favorite pre-game meal? My favorite pre-game/run meal is a bacon omelet with four eggs and extra bacon on the side. I also have to have orange juice with pulp.
If someone was going to make a movie of your season, who would play your coach? Who would play you? If someone was to make a movie of my season, I would probably have Will Ferrell be the coach because he is my favorite. And then I would have Leonardo DiCaprio as me.
If you could go to any sporting event, what would it be? If I were to go to any sporting event I would want to go to a Game 7 NBA Finals game.
If you weren’t playing your sport in the fall, what would you be doing? I would probably be eating a ton of food, playing video games and getting really fat so I’m glad I do a sport for every season.
What’s your favorite app? YouTube. Whenever I have free time that’s what I go on to waste time.
What’s your most-played song right now? “Bachelor” by A$AP Mob.
Do you have any must-see television shows? I don’t really watch TV so I don’t have a must-see television show.
If you could have dinner with any three people, who would it be? And what would you serve? I can’t chose three people. There’s too many people that I would want to go but however if I were to pick three I would serve filet mignon.
If you got a $1 million to start a company, what would you do? I would start a shoe company. I love shoes so much.
If you had to go on a talent show, what would you do? I would pretend to do a magic trick like make a bunch of random arm movements and see how the crowd reacts. That’s the best I could do.
