A deal’s a deal.

Following the New England Patriots’ comeback win over the Atlanta Falcons on Sunday in Super Bowl LI, a Patriots flag was raised Monday over Atlanta Motor Speedway in Hampton, Ga., a sister track of New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon.

NHMS Executive Vice President and General Manager David McGrath agreed to a friendly bet with Atlanta Motor Speedway President and General Manager Ed Clark leading up to Sunday’s game.

Following the first half on Sunday, it looked like McGrath would have to don a Matt Ryan jersey at race week in Atlanta. Instead, the Patriots erased a 25-point deficit in the second half and won, 34-28, in overtime.

As a result, the flag will fly outside the track offices for NASCAR race week in Atlanta from Feb. 27 to March 5. In addition, Clark will sport his own Patriots jersey while presenting McGrath and the winner of the New Hampshire 301 with Georgia peaches in victory lane on July 16 in Loudon.
