Jay and Peter Meyer aren’t your typical New England Patriots fans.

Sure, they want to see Tom Brady and Co. beat the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday as much as anyone. However, a Super Bowl win will put their Somersworth business into high gear.

The Meyers brothers are co-owners of Blue Dolphin Screenprint and Embroidery and are contracted to print thousands of T-shirts if the Patriots capture their sixth Super Bowl title. Last week, when the Patriots won the AFC championship, the company pumped out 7,000 T-shirts – the same ones worn by the team in the locker room after the game.

Last Friday, U.S. Sen. Jeanne Shaheen toured the facility and met with employees.

Shaheen posed for a photo with Jay and Peter Meyer holding a brand new New England Patriots AFC Championship T-shirt. She said she was confident the Patriots could bring home yet another Lombardi trophy.

“Clearly, we intend to win,” she said.
