After months of planning, a rally in support of equal rights for transgender individuals was held at Victory Park in Manchester on Saturday. The event, put on by Rights and Democracy New Hampshire, included speakers, socializing opportunities and political organizing. While a New Hampshire House bill that would have banned discrimination against people for their gender identity was tabled earlier this year, advocates are joining together in preparation for the next legislative session.
