Letter: A new voice in the wilderness

Most Americans regardless of which network to gather your news from are left scratching their collective heads wondering what happened to the current generation and what holds true for the future of our country. Then I read the thoughts of Hopkinton High senior Tyler Czarkowski. Mr. Czarkowski gets it right, big time. Congress is in partisan gridlock. If one sides proposes, the other side opposes and vice versa. In the meantime, we all unnecessarily suffer.

With several open seats in this year’s election cycle, governor, 2nd CD, NH senate, and an executive council seat, the Democrats running in the primary are all running a Johnny-one-note campaign of expanding abortion rights. Really? The inflation was 1.4% peaked at 9.1% and now is 3.5%. 30-year mortgage rate was south of 3% and is now north of 7%. Working families are hammered at the grocery store and at the pump. China based fentanyl is killing our youth. Upwards of 10 million illegal immigrants threaten our national security and domestic tranquility. Candidates from both parties must listen to Mr. Czarkowski, stop the identity politics nonsense and work towards curing our nations ills before it is too late and a generation is unnecessarily lost, worse yet, the American dream is no more.
