Larry Haynes, the president and CEO of the Bow-based Grappone Automotive Group, has been appointed to the 27-member University System Board of Trustees, which oversees the University of New Hampshire, Keene State College, Plymouth State University and Granite State College.

Haynes graduated from Plymouth State in 1996 with an accounting degree.

He is a member of the college's President's Council and chairman of the Campaign Strategies Committee.

"I am proud to be a graduate of Plymouth State," Haynes said in a press release.

Plymouth State President Sara Jayne Steen will also join the board of trustees.
