All four state college presidents have pledged to go green.

According to a statement, the presidents of the University of New Hampshire, Keene State College, Plymouth State University and Granite State College have joined 290 others nationwide in signing the American College and University Presidents Climate Commitment.

By doing so, they've pledged to become carbon neutral.

Within two months of signing it, the commitment requires colleges to start developing a plan. Within a year, they must inventory their greenhouse gas emissions. Colleges must have a plan in place within two years that includes a target date for climate neutrality.
