Last night's vice presidential debate has us all mulling who should be a heartbeat away from the presidency. Nathan Smith, 10, a student at Kimball School, won't be able to vote until 2016, but we were still curious about his thoughts on this year's contenders.

Us: Who would be a better vice president, Gov. Sarah Palin or Sen. Joe Biden?

Smith: What one's the Republican and what one's the Democrat?

Us: Palin is a Republican and Biden is a Democrat.

Smith: If I could vote either Joe Biden or Sarah Palin, I would choose - what's her name again? - Sarah Palin, because our family usually votes for Republicans. Republicans usually have a certain way of thinking that's similar (to what our family thinks.)
