THE MASIELLO GROUP, one of the top 100 real estate and home services companies in the United States, has signed a 15-year franchise agreement to operate as Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate The Masiello Group. Headquartered in Keene, the brokerage has 30 offices, including one in Concord, and 600 sales associates in New Hampshire, Vermont, Maine and Massachusetts. It will begin to do business under the new name in mid-November.

THE CAPITAL AREA PUBLIC HEALTH NETWORK, a health and safety collaborative based at Concord Hospital, has a new website, captialareaprepares.com, that offers tools and resources for preparing for and coping with public health emergencies caused by natural or manmade disasters.

THE TRACTOR SUPPLY COMPANY store in Chichester has officially opened. Store hours are Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. The store is at 307 Dover Road in Chichester.

VITNER'S CELLAR custom winery's grand opening will be held Saturday and next Sunday from noon to 4 p.m. The winery is in the Lamplighter Plaza at 133 Loudon Road in Concord. The winery offers hands-on winemaking services. A function room is available for weddings, bridal showers, business meetings, luncheons and more. Appointments for tasting and wine education sessions, as well as wine-making sessions, may be scheduled after hours.

SHAW'S SUPERMARKETS presented Melanie Gosselin, executive director of the New Hampshire Food Bank, with a check for $18,522.75, which was a result of two fundraising efforts from multiple Shaw's locations throughout southern New Hampshire. Shaw's held its sixth annual golf tournament Sept. 9 at Plausawa Valley Country Club in Pembroke and raised $9,000 for the food bank. Thirty-three Shaw's locations raised the additional $9,522.75 by putting donation cans at registers during the weeks leading up to the golf tournament.

ASSOCIATED GROCERS OF NEW ENGLAND is implementing the Code Adam program in its six corporate stores. Code Adam alerts store staff to a lost or missing child. Participating New Hampshire stores include the Harvest Markets of Bedford, Hollis and Wolfeboro and Vista Foods in Laconia.

BNI PARTNERS FOR SUCCESS of Concord was honored with a 2008 Founders award from Ivan Misner, founder of Business Network International. The award is given to the top 10 percent of the 5,500 chapters worldwide.

THE COMMON MAN FAMILY OF RESTAURANTS raised $10,000 for the Co-op Food Bank Challenge, the single largest donation made to the fundraising drive sponsored by New Hampshire Electric Cooperative. The amount will be matched by the NHEC Foundation, putting the electric cooperative close to its goal of raising $100,000 for the New Hampshire Food Bank.
