Freshman results
The Concord freshman boys' basketball team split a pair of games, beating Pinkerton, 56-53, and dropping a game at Exeter, 50-57. Will Sullivan and Justice Kabari played well in both games. Concord's record stands at 4-3.
Middle school results
The Rundlett A boys' basketball team lost to Hillside, 58-49. Playing well for Rundlett were Rene Maher (13 points), Sam O'Shea (nine points) and Stephen Anderson (eight points).
Youth hockey
The Route 77 Motors Henniker Huskies Mite team beat Keene, 9-1. Cam Bishop, Paul Molnar and Joe Sawitsky all had hat tricks for the Huskies. Cooper Nadeau and Aidan Pope played well on defense. Henniker lost to Lebanon. Mason Albert and Jacob Cole played well in this battle. Kali Kolehmainen and Darren Earley played well on defense. The Rt 77 Mite Henniker Huskies beat Vermont, 5-2. Kolehmainen had a hat trick and Albert scored on a pass from Jameson Bourque. Molnar, Bishop, Pope and Sawitsky all contributed to the win for the Huskies. Matthew Strickland played well in net.
• The Henniker Huskies Edmunds Ace Hardware Squirt team played a tough game against Lakes Region with goals from Teddy Ernst and Dom D'Amico, assisted by Jake Boucher. Cam Bourque played strong offense for the team. Tight defense was provided by Justin Bowen. The Huskies also faced Concord. Andrew O'Connor put one in the net for Henniker, while Patrick Earley played strong defense.
• The Gilford Well Concord Youth Hockey Bantam 4 team beat the Twin Valley Flyers, 2-0, with goals from Josh Lambert and Danny Sanders. Carter Lee had the shutout. Concord beat the Rochester Blackhawks Bantam 2 team, 3-2. Connor Bardwell, Craig Godbout and Sanders all had strong defensive efforts and goals. Concord beat Biddeford, 4-0 with goals from Godbout, Lambert (two) and Connor Bardwell. Lee had the shutout.
• The Capital Area Dentistry Mite 2 team beat Lebanon 1, 3-1. Jake Nelson netted the hat trick to provide all of the offense with assists going to Nate Benoit and Devin Philbrick. Benoit, Isabelle Benoit, Coby Mercier and Adam Senko played strong defense. Kyle Chauvette earned the win in net with 12 saves. The Capital Area Dentsitry Mite 2 team beat Manchester 2, 2-0. Chauvette earned his fifth shutout. Kegan Vincent paced the offense with a goal and an assist. Olivia Branch scored the other goal and assists went to Benoit and Derek Kelleher.
• The Weaver Brothers Construction Concord Peewee 1 team beat Dover, 3-1, and Nashua, 4-0. The defensive trio of Colby Fortin, Jacob Proulx and Dan Smith played well to allow single digit shots on net. Tyler Herrick scored two and John Foote scored one with Jake Rand adding two assists. Nathan Cunningham and Cam Commerford got things started against Nashua scoring a minute apart in the second period. Fortin and Rand added single tallies and Connor Simpson recorded his seventh shutout in net for the Capitals.
• The New Yard Landscaping Concord Capitals Squirt 4 team skated to a 2-2 tie against the Dover Stars. Jillian Lachapelle scored first for Concord on an assist from Max Lamora. Jack Decormier also added a goal. The Concord defense was anchored by Asher Pollak, Cormick McGonigle, Colby Garcia and Taylor McDonald. The Capitals fell to the Kearsarge Thrashers, 5-2. Concord scoring came from Christian Draus and Chris Mead. Ryan Quinn and Delana Erickson helped lead the offensive attack. Brandon Tibbetts played well between the pipes for Concord with 14 saves.
• The Arcomm Communications American Guardian Septic Henniker Huskies Bantam hockey team lost to Hanover, 4-1. Henniker bounced back with an 8-0 win over the Laconia Lakers. Henniker beat the Capitals, 5-2. Simon Hunter and Cam Wood each scored twice and Kenny Thomas netted the game winner.
Tilton School results
The Tilton School varsity B boys' hockey team beat Cushing, 5-1. Austin Hall (two) Jake Rivera, Robert McCormick and Matt Wrenn tallied goals for the Rams. Jared Angins picked up the win between the pipes. Tilton tied Kupper Academy, 2-2. Ned Davis and McCormick started the scoring for the Rams.
• The Tilton School varsity girls' basketball team beat Berwick, 51-39. Alyssa Schlehuber had 15 points and five rebounds. Amber Lanza had 10 points and five assists. Eleni Dixon had five points, six steals and five assists.
