Caleen Fisher (center left) serves customers.

Caleen Fisher has been a waitress at Foothills for 23 years. Or maybe it's 24 - she can't quite remember. "I'm sorry," she said. "It's been so long." Fisher took a break from her duties the other day to talk about her time at the popular Warner restaurant.

How did you get the job? My sister (Noreen Fifield) was the original person who started the restaurant. I was 15. . . . It was basically the same as now, same type of atmosphere, family owned, always very busy. Same hours. Only difference now, we've opened up for Monday.

Did you ever think you'd still be working here? Honestly, no. When I first started, it was primarily weekends. I was in high school still, and I played sports. After I graduated, it became full time. Then I got married and had a child, and it fits perfectly with my schedule.

What do you like about the job? It's the people I meet. I meet fantastic people. I've had relationships with them for many years. I've had people come in with newborn babies, seen them grow up and go to college

What's your favorite Foothills dish? I would have to say probably our Dutch Diplomat sandwich. It has turkey and ham and coleslaw with Swiss cheese and Thousand Island dressing. As far as breakfast goes, I would say our cinnamon raisin French toast.

Who's your favorite Foothills regular? Oh my gosh, we have many. Unfortunately, too many to name - they would probably be offended.
