Members of Vermont's congressional delegation said the U.S. Border Patrol is going to build a new station in their state instead of New Hampshire.

The Border Patrol had been looking at locations in New Hampshire and Vermont.

The decision to site the building in Vermont comes after a nearly two-year selection process that had been narrowed to Colebrook or Canaan, Vt.

The station would be capable of supporting 50 agents who could patrol the border in northeastern Vermont and northern New Hampshire.
