Pro-life, pro-health

As I think about the millions of Americans who do not have affordable health insurance, I realize how important universal, affordable health care is to a true pro-life agenda.

I have been privileged to have health insurance provided by my employer and now through Medicare. This insurance saved my life by enabling early detection of kidney cancer and later prostate cancer. Without insurance I would be dead.

As a pro-life Christian I fully support the president's goals for health care reform.
