JV results

The Concord High JV field hockey team tied Pinkerton, 0-0. Concord controlled play in the first half, coming up with several scoring chances. In the second half Pinkerton got a couple of corners but was unable to get past Concord's strong defensive play. Hannah Bouchard and Salina Breer played well at offense. Becky Clar and Jenna Freese were outstanding at defense. Julia Finch had six saves in net.

• The Newfound JV girls' volleyball team beat Pittsfield, 25-10, 25-22 and 15-8. Jaimee White went 10-for-12 from the service line, Gabby Tetreault served 7-for-7 and Meaghan Lavin had seven kills.

• The Hopkinton JV boys' boys soccer beat Hillsboro-Deering, 1-0. Steve Auger netted the lone goal for the Hawks, while Dan Nielsen, Ned Metcalf and Nathan Sweny anchored the defense.

• The Hopkinton JV girls' soccer team defeated Stevens, 4-0. Elizabeth Hancock led the Hawks with two goals, while Zoe Jantzen and Roxanna Stefan also found the back of the net. Sarah Metcalf and Heather Coen combined for nine saves.

Middle school results

The Merrimack Valley field hockey team beat Bow, 3-0. Olivia Thurber, Lily Davis and Haley Puntin each netted goals for the Pride. Kerry Fedion stood her ground in goal to pick up the shutout.

Trinity Christian results

The Trinity Christian School boys' varsity team beat South Merrimack, 5-1, to improve to 3-0. Casey George, Danny Willett and Stephen Foss were among the goal scorers.

Freshman results

The Concord High freshmen football team beat Londonderry, 24-20. Tolbert Nemo rushed for two touchdowns and added an interception, while Nate Mullen (two interceptions) caught a touchdown pass from Jesse Collins. Cody Ferns and Kyle Demas played well defensively for the Crimson Tide.

The Concord High freshmen boys' soccer team defeated Keene, 4-0. Adam Resnick, Harry Gunn and Subash Achyra each netted goals for the Crimson Tide. Concord is 4-1 and plays Bishop Guertin Monday.

Youth football

The Blue Storm Junior team beat Windsor, Vt., 34-8. Evan Martin led the way with two touchdowns, while Ryan Neylon (50 yards), Nicholas Plante (65 yards) and Chris Carmichael also added touchdowns. Trever Hebert anchored the defensive effort with four tackles.

• The Blue Storm 6th-grade team defeated Windsor, Vt., 6-0. Ian Curtin led the defense with six tackles and Colby Weyant added three. Cole Laliberte scored the Blue Storm's lone touchdown, while Ben Thistle (72 yards) and Weyant (81 yards) also rushed well.
