Quarterback J.J. Brooks ran for a touchdown with 1:27 remaining in the fourth quarter, capping a 21-point rally as Plymouth State University (5-1) rallied to beat Endicott College, 31-28, yesterday.

Endicott held a 28-10 lead late in the third quarter, but Brooks hit John Creamer with a 32-yard touchdown pass with five seconds left in the quarter and then ran for two fourth-quarter scores to help PSU pull out the win.

Yale 38, Dartmouth 7

Brook Hart threw for 390 yards and three touchdowns to lead Yale.

The Bulldogs (2-2, 1-1 Ivy League) dominated both sides of the ball, racking up 520 yards on offense while holding the Big Green (0-4, 0-2) to 127.

Richmond 21, James Madison 17

Ben Keating caught a touchdown pass in the fourth quarter and Richmond rallied to beat James Madison.

Richmond (5-0, 3-0 Colonial Athletic Association), the defending Football Championship Subdivision champion, has won 15 straight since losing to James Madison 38-31 on Oct. 11, 2008.

William & Mary 34, Northeastern 14

Jonathan Grimes rushed for two touchdowns and William & Mary ran over Northeastern.

Grimes scored on runs of 55 and 4 yards as the Tribe (5-1, 2-1 Colonial Athletic Association) rushed for four touchdowns in the second half to pull away.

Maine 16, Hofstra 14

Warren Smith threw two touchdown passes and Maine took advantage of seven turnovers to defeat Hofstra.

Hofstra outgained Maine 533-311, but couldn't overcome the turnovers, which led to 10 of Maine's points.
