MATT D'AMORE of Deerfield, a certified public accountant at Nathan Wechsler and Co. in Concord, has become a manager of the firm. D'Amore has also been named president of the Friends Program Board of Trustees. He will continue to serve on the organization's finance committee as well.

DOUG HOLMES of Conway, executive director of the Lakes Region Chamber of Commerce in Laconia, will attend Leadership Lakes Region as part of its 2009-10 program.

DR. PETER FROST of Nashua, a psychology professor at Southern New Hampshire University, was named the New England Psychological Association's 50th president at its October meeting.

ALLEN COEN of Concord has been appointed department chair of the Fire Technology Program at Lakes Region Community College. Coen, former deputy chief of the Hooksett Fire Department, has spent 30 years in fire service. He has taught at Lakes Region Community College for the past eight years.

MIKE WHITE of Newport and STEFAN POULIOT of Andover earned their InstallationMasters Certification after attending Harvey Building Products' two-day class in August. Both work for Cobb Hill Construction of Concord.

DR. AMIT RASTOGI has joined the Primary Care Department of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Concord. Rastogi is board-certified in internal medicine and clinical genetics. His interests include cardiovascular conditions, adult genetics/personalized genetic healthcare, public policy and social/ethical and legal issues in genomic-era medicine.

R. MATTHEW CAIRNS of Hopkinton, shareholder-director of Gallagher, Callahan and Gartrell of Concord, is beginning a one-year term as president elect of DRI-The Voice of the Defense Bar. DRI is an international organization of attorneys committed to defending the interests of businesses and individuals in civil litigation.

CAROLINE PELLOCK of Caroline Pellock Agency in Concord and GEORGE COLT of Colt and Associates in Concord, have been designated Premier Service Agents for 2009 by Allstate.

DANIEL CREAN of Pembroke was selected to serve as a faculty member, teaching the personnel course, for the Institute for Local Government Lawyers presented at the 2009 annual conference of the International Municipal Lawyers Association in Miami, Fla., this weekend. Crean practices municipal, environmental and administrative law in Pembroke.

VIVIAN NGUYEN of Hooksett has received top honors in lia sophia's Excellent Beginnings Program for outstanding sales accomplishments and professionalism.
