JV results
The Concord JV volleyball team beat Merrimack. Emmie Palisi led the defense and went 5-for-5 from the service line, including an ace. Jessie Kadlec ran the offense with six assists and added two aces. Big blocking at the net by Hannah Gleason and Danielle Pinard helped shut down Merrimack's attack.
• The Concord JV girls' soccer team defeated Londonderry, 3-1. Mary Annon scored twice on assists from Maddie Harrison and Kelcie Morris. Harrison scored the third goal and was assisted by Annon. Jasmine Morin, Amy Morin and Emily Graff played tough defense.
• The Merrimack Valley JV boys' soccer team defeated Kearsarge, 2-0. Chris Fountain and Patrick Zlatunic scored the goals for MV. Will West earned the shutout in net. Jackson Grandmaison, Zach Blanchard and Mitch Hemlin played well at midfield for MV.
• The Pembroke JV boys' soccer lost to Coe-Brown, 1-0. Isaac Pickney, Rob Begin and goalie Ryan Murray played well for Pembroke.
• The Hopkinton JV girls' soccer team beat Campbell, 3-2. Elizabeth Hancock scored twice and Zoe Jantzen added another for the Hawks. Jantzen, Sarah Metcalf, Paige Cook, and Heather Coen combined in goal to stop 19 shots.
Youth hockey
The Concord Capitals Mite 2 team won one game and lost two. Andrew Paquette netted eight goals in the campaign. Will Shoemaker, Kyle McKinnon, Alex Forward and Zach Painchaud also scored.
• The Concord Capitals Squirt 1 team fell to the NH Jr. Monarchs Squirt Major 99 team, 5-3.Connor Beatty, Jason Bogacz and Jack Zeblisky all scored for Concord. Joel Boulanger (11 saves) and Nick Stiles (15 saves) played well in net. In its second game, they beat the Arlington Squirts, 4-1. Andy Cole (goal, assist) and Connor Sackos (goal) powered the offense. Chase Mercier, Ethan Donlon, Chris Picard and Ben Tardiff played well defensively.
• The Concord U14W AT&T Wireless girls' hockey team beat Nashua, 4-3. Meg Ficarra, Arianna Harris and Angelina Stewart all tallied goals. Concord lost to Dover U14, 5-0. Emma Halter and Sarah Lessard led the offense. Emily Scheer and Maggie Barton played solid defense. Goalie Paige Patterson turned away seven shots. Concord lost to the U14 Avs, 3-0. Libby Schwaner and Hannah Hirschfeld led the offense, while Elizabeth Donlon and Stasia Bogacz played strong defense.
Middle school soccer
The Bow Memorial Middle School girls' soccer team defeated Kearsarge, 3-0. Christy Vinnenberg scored two goals and Sarah Carlson added one to lead the Bow offense. Bow's defense, led by Naomi Kramer, held Kearsarge to five shots on net. Caitlin Connor and Erica D'Errico combined for the shutout in goal.
• The Kearsarge Middle School boys' soccer team beat Bow, 4-3. Chris Fox (two goals, one assist), Colby Fortin (goal, assist), Josh DeYoung (assist) and Nate Riera (assist) led the offense. Jordan Birtz and Andrew Attorri also played well.
Trinity Christian results
The Trinity Christian School boys' soccer team beat Dublin Christian Academy, 4-0, to improve to 10-0 in the league. Skylar Vogler, Zack McKinnon and Tim Smith scored goals.
