The Bow police have identified the drivers of two vehicles that collided on a rain-soaked Route 3A just before the evening commute Wednesday. Lawrence Riel, 44, of Weare, was traveling northbound in a black SUV when he lost control, slamming into Scott Johson, 27, of Bow, the police said. Both drivers were taken to Concord Hospital with what appear to be injuries that are not life threatening.

Route 3A was closed for about two hours. The police are still investigating the cause.
