Flags adorn the graves at New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.

Gov. John Lynch, Sen. Judd Gregg and Rep. Paul Hodes will appear today at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen in observance of Veterans Day.

The hourlong ceremony, hosted by the Disabled American Veterans, will begin at 11 a.m. and feature a flyover and music by the New Hampshire National Guard Army 39th Band. Seating is limited, and visitors are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

Other events today commemorating Veterans Day include:

Alton: Claude R. Batchelder Post 72 meets at the post at 9:30 a.m. for free coffee and doughnuts. The group leaves for Monument Square at 10:30 a.m., and the ceremony begins at 11 a.m. All are welcome.

Meredith: A parade from the legion hall to the library and the POW/MIA monument begins at 11 a.m. Lunch will be served back at the legion. Admission is free.

Nashua: Parade meeting at 9:45 a.m. at Holman Stadium. Parade begins at 10:30 a.m., followed by Military Community Covenant Ceremony at noon in front of City Hall.

Also, a potluck supper, sponsored by Warner American Legion Post 39, will be held Saturday at 5:30 p.m. in the downstairs banquet room at the Warner Town Hall. All veterans and their significant others are welcome at no charge. Music from the World War II era will be provided.
