The police credited a number of tips from the public in helping them track down a Concord teenager accused of stealing money from the wallet of a forgetful customer at Thirty Pines convenience store on Village Street in Penacook.

Amanda Miller, 19, will be the only person criminally charged, even though the police were originally looking to identify three suspects, according to Lt. Keith Mitchell.

The theft took place Aug. 25 at 7:18 p.m. Store surveillance caught Miller in the act of taking money from a wallet that was left behind at a counter.

Other people in the surveillance videos have been identified but will not be charged, Mitchell said.

Miller was released on $750 personal recognizance bail and will be arraigned in Concord District Court on Dec. 10.
