A Concord man arrested yesterday on drug charges was found to be in possession of various items stolen from local college campuses, the police said.
Michael Perkins, 29, of 5 Harrord St., was charged with three counts of sale of a controlled drug and for a bench warrant violation on an unrelated matter. On three separate occasions, Perkins sold heroin to undercover detectives, the police said.
When the police arrested Perkins at his residence yesterday, detectives located property that had been stolen from NHTI, Franklin Pierce Law Center and Southern New Hampshire University. The stolen items included textbooks, computers, wallets, credit cards and identification cards. Illegal drugs were also seized from the apartment, according to the police.
The investigation is ongoing and the police said it could take a while to identify individual victims at the colleges and universities. Additional charges against Perkins are pending, the police said.
Perkins was arraigned yesterday in Concord District Court, where bail was set at $15,000 cash or surety.
