If you've been trying to get a seasonal flu shot, your time is now. The Concord Regional Visiting Nurse Association, which ran out of its flu shot doses a month ago, has been resupplied, and it's scheduled a series of public flu shot clinics for the coming weeks.
The VNA accepts private insurance, Medicare and Medicaid. Those without insurance can pay $25 for a shot. Nurses at the clinics will not be offering H1N1 flu shots, but the state has also announced some public clinics for adults between 18-24 with chronic health conditions who want that vaccine.
