Three teams finished regulation play tied at 7-under par in the 27th annual Myles Standish Invitational Golf Tournament on Thanksgiving morning at Beaver Meadow Golf Course. Brothers Mark and Mike Dube teamed up on the second playoff hole to claim the hard-fought win. Other winning team members playing with the Dube brothers included captain Andy Vachon, Bob Vachon, Chris Parkinson and Scott Weller. They defeated the team of Ryan Sylvester, Glenn Sylvester, Ron Jobin, Doug Duval, Dick Smith and Scott Duval, who finished second, and the third-place team of Chris Duhaime, John Ruggles, Bob Larsen, George Rennie, Jerry Eaton and Nate Larsen. This was the fourth Standish victory for Andy Vachon and the second for his dad, Bob.

Marc Dube and Scott Duval were co-winners of the John Alden Award given annually to the highest finishing rookie or rookies. Paul Worsowicz won the closest-to-the-pin contest on the third hole with a rifled 7-iron to within five feet of the cup, and Doug Ricard walked away with the prize for being closest on the sixth hole when his near hole-in-one just rolled past the cup by 32 inches. Michael Amidon hit a 318-yard drive on the eighth hole to win the longest drive contest.
