Hearing and hearing-aid checks by Sound Advice are available by appointment. The center is located at the Bradford Area Community Center, 134 Main St., Bradford. For information or reservations, call 938-2104.

VNA of Franklin

Tuesday- blood pressure clinic, 11 a.m. to noon, Shaw's, Tilton.

Wednesday- foot and B12 clinic, VNA of Franklin. Call for an appointment.

Thursday- blood pressure clinic, 11 a.m. to noon, Northfield Community Pines.

Friday- blood pressure clinic, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m., Webster Town Hall.

Organizations

Strong Living:

The Tufts Strong Living 12-week program will be offered Mondays and Wednesdays beginning Sept. 20from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.; Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Sept. 21 from 9 to 10 a.m.; and Tuesdays and Thursdays beginning Sept. 21 from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Classes will be held at the Contoocook Grange Hall on Cedar Street. The cost is $25 per person.

The program, for men and women 50 and older, is a community-based strength-training program promoted by New Hampshire Celebrates Wellness, a statewide organization devoted to raising health awareness. Pre-registration is required.
