Allenstown

Meet-the-candidates night: The Allenstown Police Association will sponsor a meet-the-candidates night for those running for selectman Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Allenstown Elementary School. Questions should be submitted in writing and given to the moderator. If you cannot attend but would like to have a question answered, write to the Allenstown Police Association, 16 School St., Allenstown 03275.

Bow

Fitness programs: The Bow Parks and Recreation Department will offer the following fitness programs:

"AM Fitness," for all levels, Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays through April 22from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. The cost is $62.

"Yoga for Fitness," Thursdays through April 21 from 8:30 to 9:35 a.m. The cost is $27. No experience is necessary.

Rabies clinic: As part of her Girl Scout Silver Award, Bow Girl Scout Kaitlin Frank of Troop No. 509 will hold a rabies clinic tomorrow from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Bow Community Center. Animals must be leashed or in a pet carrier. Please bring your pet's current vaccination records. Linda Remick and Brooke Rapp from Cilley Veterinary Clinic will assist Dr. Heather Manning with the vaccinations. The SPCA will be on hand to answer questions about the organization. The cost is $8 for cats and $10 for dogs. A percentage of the proceeds will help start the Ally Hinck Veterinary Scholarship Fund, which will benefit a Bow High School senior entering the field of veterinary medicine or pursuing a career as a veterinary technician.

Adult programs: The Bow Parks and Recreation Department will offer the following adult programs:

"CPR and AED Certification," Feb. 19from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. or 1 to 5 p.m.; or April 9 from 1 to 5 p.m. The cost is $25.

"Dog Obedience," Mondays from March 14 through April 18. Beginners will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. The cost is $110. Drop-in classes for those who have already had training will meet from 8 to 9 p.m. for $10 per class.

"Scrapbooking," March 5 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The cost is $20. Crop days will be held Feb. 25 and March 25 from 6:30 to 10 p.m. The cost is $5 per day.

Bradford

'Sweetheart Promenade' dance: The Bradford Country Squares will host a dance, "Sweetheart Promenade," Feb. 20 from 2 to 4:30 p.m. at town hall. Please note the change in date and time. Dona Prudhomme will call, and Vera Prudhomme will cue. Refreshments will be served. The cost is $5 per person. Spectators are welcome. For more information, call Norma Burns at 927-4454.
