Concord Monitor photojournalist Lori Duff traveled with the New Hampshire National Guard this spring on a medical mission to El Salvador. The 30-member team treated over 5,000 people, pulled 446 teeth, fitted 241 pairs of eyeglasses and saw, among other things, a goiter the size of a cantaloupe and injuries from an attempted suicide.
