The Weare police arrested two Massachusetts men yesterday after they were seen dealing cocaine in broad daylight, the police said.

Weare officers spotted London Cohen, 20, and Dio Damion Brown, 26, in the parking lot of Lanctot's Plaza at 425 South Stark Highway at about noon, according to the police. When they tried to leave, officers stopped them nearby.

A search turned up 12 bags of powdered cocaine with a street value of about $2,000, according to the Weare police. Another $400 in counterfeit money was also seized, the police said.

Cohen will be charged with possession and transportation of a controlled drug along with intent to distribute, according to the Weare police, and with driving with a suspended Massachusetts driver's license.

Brown will be charged with conspiracy to sell a controlled drug and attempted forgery, the police said. Both suspects were being held at the Hillsborough County House of Corrections in Manchester pending arraignment early next week. Bail has been set at $100,000 cash.
